The St. Vital Park Pavilion was built as a central focal point in one of the three original regional parks of Winnipeg. The pavilion is next to the Duck Pond and skating area, and provides a year-round shelter that functions as an open-air picnic shelter in summer, and a conditioned skate change building in the winter.
