The Smith Street Lofts project located at 185 Smith Street completely overhauled an apartment building originally constructed in 1971, transforming the derelict building that had been sitting empty for over a decade. The project revitalized the 20 storey high-rise to a modern loft style apartment with public and private spaces, including 259 fully renovated double storey lofts, studios and penthouse suites. Residential amenity spaces complete with fitness, gathering, games, outdoor exercise and pet amenities were also provided. Street-level tenant opportunities were built targeting the restaurant and retail sectors. A new multi-storey parking garage was built on the adjacent site and interconnected into the existing tower to provide safe and convenient parking for the tenants.
